Creating memorable experiences in Las Vegas isn’t difficult. Designing something fresh and different can be. Preciosa Lighting worked with the design teams at Resorts World Las Vegas and Steelman Partners to create a collection of bespoke light fixtures inspired by our Signature Design Pearl Drop.

The Resorts World complex features three hotel brands.  Each hotel caters to a distinct clientele from high rollers to business and leisure travelers and families. The property blends the technology and luxury appeal of an urban contemporary resort with the traditions and time-honoured details of the international Resorts World brand.

Pearl heritage from Crystal Valley

Three large Pearl Drop installations ranging from 350 to 600 kilograms decorate Resort World’s Main Casino. In total, more than 1100 hand-blown spheres from Bohemian crystal were created. The total length of the three fixtures stretches to 154 metres. Created from hand-blown glass triplex opal spheres brought together with individual brass details, Pearl Drop is a captivating eye-catcher. The light adds dazzle to a range of spaces, perfectly accenting both contemporary and classic decors.

Creating the concept

The Preciosa Design Team worked closely with Kara Siffermann, former Vice President of Design at Resorts World to craft Pearl Drop installations to match her vision for the space’s look and feel. Ms. Siffermann and her team wanted the lighting to not only add an artistic element to the space but to also act as a signpost for visitors passing through the casino.
