Connecting the world through light doesn’t mean only on land. Our extensive
Maritime programme also creates innovative lighting designs for luxury yachts
and cruise ships. Once again, we’re dazzling the attendees of the Monaco Yacht
Show with one of our bespoke designs. Visitors will get to experience a
memorable, dynamic, maritime Crystal Grid. Our latest Signature Design, Crystal
Grid, debuted at Salone del Mobile this year.
Dancing across the waves
Crystal Grid is a customizable, modular product that features hand-blown crystal tubes and an orthogonal structure inspired by orthogonality's unmistakable patterns in architecture and design. This sleek and sparkling design creates a shimmering statement in any yachting space.
Creative Directors Michael Vasku and Andreas Klug took inspiration from orthogonality's patterns when designing Crystal Grid. The product features perpendicular lines, minimalist components, and all necessary maritime design and safety features.
On display in the Parvis Piscine tent is a nearly three-meter by one-meter installation featuring crystal tubes with bubbles and a wild rose metal frame finish. The dynamic element is reminiscent of slow-moving waves and the sparkle of the sun dancing on the water.
The Monaco Yacht Show kicked off with a fantastic evening celebrating the Honours by MYS and the Superyacht Life Foundation. The ceremony recognized the inspiring people behind the inspirational stories that make the superyachting world exceptional. We worked with designer Stephen Goss to handcraft the trophies for The Bowsprit Award, which were presented to the winners.
Supporting the yachting community
Preciosa is pleased to be a part of the vibrant yachting community, and it’s always a pleasure for our team to have the opportunity to create bespoke maritime lighting designs for the most luxurious yachts sailing the globe. This year, we also continued our partnership with MYS as a partner of the Upper Deck Lounge.
