The Kempinski Engelberg, Grand Titlis Palace is in the heart of Switzerland, close to Lucerne. The luxurious property sits at the foot of the Titlis Mountain and is designed with contemporary Swiss flair. Preciosa Lighting was pleased to create two statement lighting installations for this marvellous mountain retreat.
There was no better inspiration for the hotel restaurant’s lighting than the property’s gorgeous alpine setting. In the Cattani restaurant, a nearly 14-metre chandelier stretches across the room. Designed by Preciosa Lighting designer Martin Prokeš, the installation features hanging glass rods in a mix of colours and surfaces finishes. The variety of the rods creates a mountain vibe, which is further highlighted by the restaurant’s large windows featuring views to the nearby mountains.
In the private dining space, the 4-metre fixture features glass cylinders embedded into the ceiling. The mix of clear and frosted glass adds a minimalistic touch to the space.
Preciosa worked with Jestico and While on this wonderful project.
