Crystal Pixels dazzles with light, colour and sound

We're here at Downtown Design Dubai to dazzle with three splendid showstoppers.
At the heart of our showcase is Crystal Beat — an immersive installation that
orchestrates light, colour, and sound, transforming into an interactive oasis in
the desert. Also on display are two of our Signature Designs – Crystal Pixels
and Crystal Grid.
The Crystal Beat installation, crafted by Preciosa Lighting Creative Directors Michael Vasku and Andreas Klug for Downtown Design Dubai 2024, is a fully immersive experience featuring meticulously arranged, handcrafted crystal cubes.
Each cube serves as a single pixel and is the essential building block of the entire dynamic installation. Together, they form a vibrant, dynamic light composition. The fusion of a 3D sound system with colourful lighting effects creates an unforgettable sensory experience.
144 crystal cubes create Crystal Beat
Our Crystal Beat installation is a bold celebration of our passion for innovation! At the core of this interactive piece is a single crystal cube, expertly cut from the finest Bohemian triplex opal crystal, inspired by our Signature Design Crystal Pixels.
Suspended in unison, these 144 crystal "pixels" house 720 individually programmable LED chips, each with five-directional lighting that pulses in sync with the music. In vibrant RGBW hues, they come together to create an immersive, rhythmic experience.
You can also explore two of our Signature Designs, Crystal Pixels and Crystal Grid, displayed together for the first time. Their modular, shape-shifting designs radiate bespoke elegance, bringing captivating beauty to any space.
Crystal Pixels embodies the distinct charm of digital art aesthetics, providing a unique blend of nostalgia and contemporary expression.
Signature Design Crystal Grid is a compelling lighting installation that combines the clarity of geometry with the sparkle of hand-blown crystal.
At Downtown Design 2024, Preciosa transforms lighting design into an art form.
