About

Arvia Cruise Ship

We crafted a bespoke and vibrant statement chandelier for the atrium of P&O Cruises' Arvia. In collaboration with Jestico + Whiles, the renowned architecture and interior design firm with roots in London and Prague, this distinctive creation was brought to life, leaving a lasting impression.

The chandelier is dynamic, which means the ship’s staff can set changing scenes to match the mood and music of the party below. It is also maritime-ready, meaning all materials are protected from the salty and humid sea air, and all components are securely fixed.
For the dining area, we created a six nautical-inspired pendants featuring hand-blown glass and actual sea ropes for an authentic oceanic look and feel.

The chandelier looks amazing and, with so many different settings, changes the atmosphere of the atrium completely.

Lucy Norton New Build and Refit Projects for P&O Cruises

We proposed a modern chandelier made with hundreds of trumpet-shaped metal elements that follow the contours of the ceiling and create a twinkling effect. The idea for this atrium design with performance at it’s heart, was to create a complementary sense of celebration and movement, balancing each design element and considering the play of light on the different surfaces.
