About
Floating luxury
The staggering Seven Seas Grandeur is touted as the world’s most premium
all-inclusive cruise liner. When its designers wanted to translate their vision
into maritime-friendly creations, they looked no further than Preciosa Lighting.
The result, in collaboration with Studio DADO and Studio Tilberg, was
18 exquisite luminaires that dazzle onboard guests.

Other luminaries
Luminaire for Casino
Tempting Lady Luck becomes easier under this lighting installation which resembles a radiant night sky. 65 crystal spheres in three different sizes suspend on tubes hanging off the ceiling. The handblown spheres are bedecked with bubbles to amplify the sparkling effect. Needless to say, the entire construction satisfies strict maritime protocols for lighting fixtures.
Luminaire for the Card Room
Playful camaraderie meets an equally playful luminaire. Expressing a flower in bloom, this glass-free fixture is made entirely of acrylic opal plates that are created by laminating two layers together with a textile fabric inside. The plates are then pressed into a wavy silhouette before being encased in a steel frame. LED strips provide illumination along the edges of the acrylic plates, creating a cosy ambience.
Project in numbers
- 11140 crystal beads threaded on the leaves
- 58 3D bent laser-cut leaves
