Residence Inn refurbishment

This hotel refurbishment project in 2024 marked our first installation of the Signature Design Crystal Spin with RGBW features. Our vibrant lighting complemented the hotel's chic furnishings and lively colours, embodying LA’s dynamic spirit. We installed four Crystal Spin designs for this project in collaboration with Degen & Degen Architecture and Interior Design and Steinhauer Properties.

Our client was captivated by our Signature Design Crystal Spin, which can be customised to suit any space with options for composition, size, surface finishes, and lighting effects. For this project, they selected four unique Crystal Spin installations, each with a distinct shape and size.
Each of the four lighting fixtures features clear crystal rods with bubble details, enhanced by RGBW capabilities for individual control. This enables the hotel to create dynamic lighting scenes and tailor the ambiance to suit the space.
The client aimed to utilise as many existing fixing points as possible while filling the expansive lobby space. They also wanted the fixture to be prominently visible from the hotel’s exterior. Situated directly across from LA Live, the location sees significant car and foot traffic, making the visibility of the installation a key priority.

Lighting possibilities

RGBW scenes in detail

Our first Crystal Spin installation is unique, with all four fixtures controlled from a single PC. Currently, the same effects are displayed on all fixtures, but the setup allows for

individual expressions within a scene, activated by a button or preset. A simple master script also allows for an automatic on/off timing for one light.
