Second award for interactive installation

Preciosa is proud to announce the magical interactive installation Breath of Light has been honoured with a German Design Award. The German Design Awards are the international premier prize awarded by the German Design Council. Its goal is to discover, present, and honour unique trends in design. Every year, high-calibre entries in the fields of product and communication design are honoured, each of which blazes new trails in the international design landscape.

Completely Customizable

Breath of Light is a Preciosa Signature Design. These installations are completely customizable based on a space’s size, decor and usage. Clients can choose the size of Breath of Light, its colours and whether they would like it to be interactive, dynamic, kinetic or static.

The jury for the German Design Awards 2020 is composed of design experts from industry, academia and science as well as the design industry.

“Breath of Light has proven to be such a popular installation among people who have experienced it, and we are proud that it has received this honour from the German Design Council and their professional jury,” said Michael Vasku, Creative Director for Preciosa Lighting. “Breath of Light is one of Preciosa’s Signature Designs and it truly expresses our commitment to connect people through light.”

This honour follows the Red Dot: Best of the Best Award Breath of Light received in 2018.
