Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West Hotel

Texas, USA

Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West Hotel is located on Legacy Drive at the intersection of Dallas North Tollway and State Highway 121. The premier 304-room, 15-story hotel is within the walkable epicenter of the $3 billion Legacy West, the largest mixed-use development being built in North Texas. Hotel was opened on September 8, 2017 and was designed by architects HKS, interiors by Dallas-based Looney & Associates.

The lobby features wide-open spaces and is dominated by an airy lighting sculpture composed of 520 clear crystal balls creating concave dome. The elevator lobby pendant is a twisted glass sculpture of four sided plates of variable sizes carefully arranged to create a twisted effect. OMA, an asian-fusion restaurant is decorated by series of 36 birdcages, which style vary in size, shape and metal finish – hand painted gold, antique brass and rubbed brass. Stylish wall sconces were delivered to R Lounge Workstations and Entry. A two meter sculptured metal pendant is a focal feature of the R Lounge Communal Table. Hand-blown glass black and smoky teapots add an element of whimsy to the Teahouse.

Versatile and sophisticated meeting space has over 26,000 square feets. The unmistakable dominance of the pre-function area is the glass ribbon sculpture that interlaces between the columns. It is made of glass tubes coated in Stardust® to escalate its brilance. Organic shaped chandeliers in the Junior Ballroom are in the shape of roses with petals composed of thousands of crystal beads.
