Aux Merveilleux de Fred is a popular network of luxury patisseries selling Merveilleux cakes, brioche breads and Cramiques, a history that began in 1982 in Hazebrouck.
In 2016, apart from France and Belgium, stores exist in Great Britain and in the US, and their number will increase. Early in his career, Frédéric fell under the spell of Merveilleux cakes and has been paying tribute to this unique delicacy ever since. This traditional pastry delicacy became a popular product! What is Frédéric’s secret? An inimitable melt-in-the-mouth meringue, which gives a lightness and finesse to this cake. A visual and olfactory experience, the Merveilleux are made in front of the customer in each of the stores.
Frédéric Vaucamps always works with the same suppliers. PRECIOSA became a proud partner and supplier of the lighting fixtures Maria Theresia Picolomini and Roy, to each newly opened patisserie. All of the lights are in gold finish with premium trimmings. The largest chandelier, of diameter 3 meters, is located in Bruges in Belgium.
