Garden of crystal flowers for IKEM

Recently, the Institute of Clinical and Experimental Medicine (IKEM) in Prague Krč inaugurated its new pavilion, U. On the occasion of the opening, we had the honour of unveiling our crystal installation, Blossom Garden, which adorns the entrance hall.

Blossom Garden installation at the entrance hall of the atrium of the newly opened IKEM building in Prague brings calming atmosphere.

92 hand-blown crystal flowers

The Blossom Garden installation consists of a concrete "bowl" at the bottom, covered by a 120cm diameter stainless steel mirror that ingeniously reflects 26 hand-blown crystal flowers that seem to grow out of it. The masterpiece is complemented by 66 additional crystal flowers that swirl from the ceiling to the imaginary mirror surface. The entire installation is 304cm high.

Thanks to the colours used - clear, clear with bubbles, milky sand and amber in various shades - the design evokes the freshness of handpicked flowers, along with a feeling of harmony, lightness and playfulness.

Take a closer look to witness how the crystal flowers bloom and create a meditative, calming and renewing atmosphere in the interior of this restorative space.

We are happy to be able to show what we "know" with crystal and light in the new space, i.e. to distract and make the mood more pleasant or calm. We have created a little flowering oasis full of the beauty and power of nature that awakens curiosity and evokes wonder. Many visitors to IKEM are dealing with difficult situations and we try to create positive emotions and connect people through them. Just like each of our installations around the world - now in Prague, in the new pavilion at IKEM.
