Preciosa partnered with interior design studio G. A. Group to infuse
contemporary brilliance into this historic landmark, which showcases original
marble staircases, gilded columns, Art Nouveau ceilings, and a neoclassical
façade. The team created bespoke chandeliers and custom lighting fixtures that
seamlessly complement the hotel’s opulent aesthetic.
The Superior Suite features a bespoke chandelier inspired by wistaria. Its hand-cut crystal trimmings—clear with delicate bubbles and accented by a gold metal coating—come together to create a truly unique piece.
The reception lighting fixture was inspired by falling leaves, designed in clear and gold tones per the client’s specifications.
To highlight the leaf’s organic character, we used textured glass for all 236 hand-blown crystal leaves, combining clear elements with subtle bubbles and gold-plated accents.

Corinthia Bucharest, once revered as the Grand Hotel du Boulevard, with roots tracing back to 1873, it was Romania’s most modern hotel of its time, introducing electric lighting and elevators, and quickly became a cultural hub hosting royalty, diplomats, and luminaries. After a meticulous restoration, the hotel reopened in March 2025 as an all-suite boutique destination. A place where timeless glamour flows effortlessly into modern creativity; a home for visionaries, dreamers, and those who appreciate life’s finer details.
