About

Preciosa Lighting's „Frozen Bubbles“ fixture, crafted for the 1900 K Street commercial building in Washington DC, emerged from a harmonious collaboration between our in-house design team and The Smith Group and Hines on the client side.

A striking centrepiece of the three-story entrance hall is a dynamic lighting installation of remarkable scale, composed of cascading curtains of hand-blown spheres, each illuminated by RGBW LED chips.
The Frozen Bubbles installation is composed of elegantly squeezed crystal spheres, each hand-blown with delicate bubbles that infuse the piece with an added sparkle and luminous shimmer.
The luminaire features integrated RGBW scenes that enhance the ambiance of the design lobby. These lighting displays have been thoughtfully expanded to include thematic scenes in American national colours, honouring Memorial Day and other significant occasions.
