The Omni Oklahoma City Hotel

Oklahoma City, USA

The Omni Oklahoma City Hotel features regional design influences that take inspiration from the pastoral landscape of the Oklahoma terrain. In their design concept, Bill Rooney Studio paid homage to the state and weaved in the landscape’s rustic, earthy tones into each space. We were pleased to collaborate with them to create dozens of lighting fixtures throughout the property.

Like all Omni hotels, this property strives to give guests an authentic feel for the local flavour. The interiors are comfortable, approachable, but also luxurious. The finishing and colours of all of Preciosa’s fixtures highlighted the Studio’s design vision and act as lovely additions to various spaces. In the 20,000 square foot Oklahoma Station Ballroom, 12 large circular chandeliers featuring clear ribbed plate glass and a satin bronze finish shine on the guests. Seven black frame chandeliers line the lobby corridor, echoing the larger chandelier in the lobby itself.

The Mokara spa’s design includes simplistic and detailed accents to create a calming and relaxing environment for guests to enjoy. Hanging in the lobby is a gorgeous globe pendant made from hand-blown frosted glass is reminiscent of bubbles. Wall sconces crafted from hand-blown frosted glass paired with a plated brass frame and satin black shade grace the spa’s dining room.

The restaurant’s private dining space features a rectangular chandelier with a bronze finish and clear ribbed glass. The coffee shop includes lighting that picks up the rustic look again with brass and black finishings. A unique wall light with rounded black components was designed for the bar and coordinating wall sconces in brass as well. In the pre-function area, 24 minimalistic steel table lamps with a brass finish add a perfect touch.

Preciosa is pleased to have a team and production facility capable of taking on large hospitality projects that include multiple lighting fixtures and a variety of design requirements.
