With an atmosphere of Old World glamour infused with a South Florida vibe, the Colonnade Coral Gables in Miami, Florida has recently undergone a revamp. The new look highlights the original building’s classical lines and adds an art experience for guests.

Preciosa, in collaboration with Dawson Design Associates, designed clear crystal hand-blown glass chandeliers for the Merrick ballroom and impressive statement chandeliers for the main staircase in the lobby. The glittery effect is multiplied by the sheer number of crystal octagons and drops we produced at our factory in Crystal Valley.

Dawson Design Associates hand-picked the original paintings and sculptures decorating the hotel and matched some of them with Preciosa’s chandeliers. The effect is one of elegance; with the lighting adding just the right touch of sparkle to the art spaces. The inspiration for the lighting is a nod to Preciosa’s historical chandelier collection with the designs highlighting the beauty of pure crystal glass.
