In the beautiful county of Hertfordshire in the south of England, there is a family residence and estate filled with thoughtful design, luxury materials, and handcrafted details. To welcome guests with artistry and charm, we worked with Hill House Interiors to craft two custom chandeliers for the entrance hall.
The designers shared a description of the project and how our bespoke lighting fixtures fit into their concept: “Set within the idyllic Hertfordshire countryside, Hill House Interiors designed the interiors for a sprawling country home. The striking entrance hall immediately sets the tone for the exquisite finishes throughout, with the crown jewel of the space being the pair of custom chandeliers.”
Crystal Towers features hand-blown organic pebble-shaped components in three sizes. Preciosa used a mix of materials to create a textured feel: crystal with bubbles, crystal with crackles, and a smoky shade with crackles and with bubbles. The final design was created by our in-house designers Martin Prokeš and Michaela Venclová. The varying hues give an elegant, understated feel to the chandeliers.
The extraordinary twin crystal fixtures are each four metres tall and feature more than 600 crystal pearls plus 200 hand-blown pebbles. They grace the home’s entrance, hanging near the bottom of the double-sided staircase.
The Hertfordshire estate was awarded a 5-star accolade for Residential Interior Private Residence in the International Property Awards and was shortlisted for an International and Design Architecture Award 2022. It was such a pleasure working with Hill House Interiors on this project. When designing residential spaces, we can feel the owner’s passion and energy and are honoured to be able to bring them lighting with emotion.
